The Fleurys Music School is running a Woodwind Orchestra! For age 8-12s (ish) who are around preliminary – grade 2 level. The sessions are during the 2019 Jan Summer holiday in Copacabana:
Wed 23rd, Thurs 24th and Fri 25th of Jan
1:00 – 2:30pm (1.5 hrs)
Total cost $90 per child (for all 3 sessions together)
Please make sure you can commit to all 3 dates.
Each day will include:
60 mins of ensemble playing broken into 2 halves
15 mins of singing and pitch work
15 mins of notes and rhythm work
This will be a great experience for lots of our students who have never played in a group, or have seen one another at concerts but never played together. It’s enormously beneficial to their overall music making and they may make some life long music mates too!
